Stephanie Cruz Mendez



Stephanie Cruz Mendez (b. 1996, Miami, FL) is a visual artist working primarily with photography and alternative processes. Her practice blends cyanotype, analog photography, and at times experimental collage to explore themes of memory, transformation, and the unseen. Through a hands-on, process-oriented approach, she creates images that embrace imperfection, intuition, and material exploration.

She earned her BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute in New York, where she developed her interest in non-traditional image-making and laid the groundwork for her evolving, multidisciplinary practice. She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
